Patricia let me know that we could rely on her for any reason, my husband has dementia and was at ease around her at all times.
When my husband was admitted to this hospital, we had already been going through medical issues for approximately three months. (Diagnosis of prostate cancer, pulmonary embolism, problems with weakness and blood pressure problems) we came here due to him having fainting issues and he was transported by EMS to this ER.
By the time we got to this point, I was pretty much stressed to the limit. After admission to the room, a nurse was assigned to my husband and she came into his room to introduce herself. I realized right then that an angel had come into our lives. She was caring and very attentive not only to my husband but to me also. She was there for both of us, no matter the reason. She let me know that we could rely on her for any reason, my husband has dementia and was at ease around her at all times. IF I needed to leave the room, I was always at ease knowing he was ok.
Every morning she showed up with a cup of coffee and whatever she thought I might need. I was never able to put a face to her due to the PPE she had to wear but she had the most caring eyes that smiled when she looks at you. We were truly blessed to have had an angel like her pass through our lives at this time. She truly deserves all the praise she gets and I am sure everyone that passes through her life will feel as blessed as we do.
This hospital is so lucky to have her as one of their employees -
Her wings are big enough to handle anything that's put before her!
