Sam is quite simply an angel. I have the pleasure of working in obstetrics and see first-hand the compassion and empathy Sam gives to those parents who have sadly experienced the worst thing a parent can, the death of their child. Sam takes care of their babies like they were her own. She even used her own money to buy new pajamas to put on the children in the mortuary who have arrived with no clothes due to police taking them for evidence. She is the epitome of the Leeds Way and always goes that extra mile for every parent. I have experienced the neonatal death of my own son, albeit not at LTHT, and I wish I had someone like Sam back then so I knew my baby's body was being cared for so lovingly. Sam is a true DAISY Nurse.
