Hope continues to show her compassion for her patients and coworkers by being a team player. As soon as the shift starts she is checking in with her coworkers and offering help, advice, and kindness. She is not only a great teammate but she is a critical thinker. Her patients directly benefit from her fast thinking and excellent decision making. I look at Hope as a model for how I should behave when I'm having a hard day at work. When in a bind, you don't even need to ask Hope for help because she is already at your side asking you how she can help. Instead of waiting to be told what to do, she takes charge and grabs what is needed to be done. If your patient is having an emergent problem, Hope will be the one offering her support.
