"KK" as she is obviously, affectionately called, has the most amazing set of people skills, knowledge, and work skills that I have ever seen, first-hand in a nurse or single person of any occupation, who loves their job! She took her time to explain the meds that I was being given and what they were for. She has extremely consistent in her ability to be safe and cautious, in regard to COVID-19 procedures. KK consistently showed me genuine concern for my specific illness and made sure that my meds were on time every day. She was very gentle when giving me injections and was successful in moving my IV to another area due to pain and a blown vein. I am a very hard stick and I wasn't sure if she would be able to get another vein to work for her. She was so patient and made sure that my pain level was next to nothing. KK was able to reinsert my IV into a place that would let the fluids flow freely.
She made me laugh. She was easy to talk to and made me feel as if I were her only patient. You should be honored to have her as part of the nursing staff at Wellstar. I know, I am. I thank God for putting me in the right place at the right time for her to have been such an amazing part of my care.
