Becky showed the love of a true nurse! She came in with arms wide open and held and hugged me as I cried.
Becky went above and beyond showing love and compassion! I had an ultrasound at 25 weeks and was told one of our twin baby's heart had stopped beating. Obviously receiving very devastating news, and with the virus and UK policies, I was all alone at my ultrasound while waiting for family. Many people stopped in but only Becky showed the love of a true nurse! She came in with arms wide open and held and hugged me as I cried. This meant a lot not having anyone with me! The rest of the staff just stood back keeping six feet of distance staring like my world hadn't just been shattered.
Becky's kindness didn't stop there. Every appointment I had thereafter and she saw me she'd always check on me and how I was doing. She always offered anytime I was scared for the other twin to run to the parking lot with a fetal Doppler to check baby boy's heart rate so I knew everything was okay with him!
My water broke at 35 weeks and my mom reached out to let Becky know because of how much Becky has done for me. Right before C-section preparation, Becky walks into my room! She had received permission to come to hold my hand during my C-section which helped relieve a lot of anxiety. I cried because I was so happy she was there. Hospitals definitely need more people like Becky. She helped shine a light on the worst storm you could ever imagine.
