I was in an MVA. Destiny was the charge nurse and PC was down, but she knows my medical background. She kept me calm, talked to me, and got K to get a port in while she was putting in orders and getting meds ordered. She has the most amazing bedside manner. She introduced me to my nurse D, and they made sure I was taken care of. The staff sees 100's of patients yet can remember your information. Professional but you can tell she truly cares for her patients.
All nurses were bright and cheerful. Destiny runs her shifts like a well-oiled machine. Awesome Leadership and teamwork! Made a stressful and unavoidable situation as pleasant as could be. You could tell they were smiling because of their tone and their eyes. For being a young nurse Destiny has core values, bedside manner, and the professionalism of a veteran nurse.
