Brittney was caring for this patient on comfort cares so attentively. She was especially caring and compassionate to the patient's family. Brittney spoke to many of the patient's family members on the phone. She knew, with the limited visitors due to COVID, that many family members may not get a chance to say goodbye to the patient so Brittney set up a Zoom video call that she kept on throughout the shift so the family could see and speak to the patient. The Zoom video call and Brittney's advocacy for the patient's family were outstanding. Her compassionate care made the end of life moments more bearable for the family. She was empathetic and did everything she could to ease the suffering of the patient and family.
