Becky did an outstanding job assisting a patient with discharge. The patient didn't have any diabetic supplies; 2 different types of insulin, strips, glucometer, lancets, etc. Becky went to Walmart to pick up the patient's prescription and diabetic supplies.
On top of all this, she found out right before discharge that the patient is homeless and didn't have a working vehicle. Becky found him a place to stay in his hometown 20 miles away and arranged for a taxi to transport him. Becky is so good at knowing how to accommodate patients and their unique needs and is an asset to our Ascension family.
