In December I had a late miscarriage at 17 weeks and lost my baby boy. It was such a traumatic experience for me but having Summer as my nurse really touched my heart and made a huge difference.
I will never forget the way she cared for me and showed so much love and support as if I were her own family member. The way her warm hands held mine as often as she could, the way she explained what was going on each time to keep me informed, the way she showed empathy and hugged/cried with me is exactly what I needed at that moment.
I have worked with many nurses in the past and have not come across anyone with the level of care Summer has. I will never forget Summer and I am so thankful that she was my nurse. I went back to the hospital a week later to thank her for all that she did, and she touched my heart again with her warm love and support. Seeing her really made my day. Summer is phenomenal and truly one of a kind and is a true DAISY Nurse for going above and beyond with her outstanding care.
