I would like to express to you my great appreciation and deep gratitude for your heartfelt caring that you showed me when I was a COVID-19 patient at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center for 4 days. Not sure which day it was, but I had a panic attack in my room. It was the day I thought I would die. I had had a lot of stress in my life, was sick for some time. A short time after the panic attack, you took the time to explain to me what had happened to me and how my personality may have had a part in this. I felt I was the strong one in my family and was supposed to take care of everyone. You reminded me that we all need to allow ourselves to let others take care of us at times. You took the time and really cared and that helped me so much. I wanted to thank you in person, but the hospital said to send a card. Caring people like yourself are what really make a difference in this world.
