Rafael is an absolutely amazing nurse. He was one of the many nurses who took care of my husband while he was in the ICU with COVID. My husband had a 20% chance of survival and Rafael took the best care of him on the days he had him. Every time I spoke to Rafael about any updates on my husband, he went into full detail on everything that he was doing for him. He asked what type of music my husband listened to so he could play it while he washed him up, he talked to him through everything he was doing, even though my husband was sedated. No matter how little the change was to my husband's meds, ventilator, or anything he would tell me. Every time we spoke he would make sure I was doing ok. He listened to everything I had to say and never tried to rush me off the phone. I knew if Rafael was with my husband he was going to get 100%. I could tell by talking to him how loving and compassionate he is and how much he loves his job.
