Lexie has floated on numerous occasions to various COVID units and has done so without hesitation, fear, or reservation.
The demands and hardships placed on the shoulders of nursing can be overwhelming, even during normal times. Saying that those demands have increased during the COVID pandemic would be a tremendous understatement.
While some nurses endure more difficulties than others, everyone shares the burden that healthcare now faces. Maintaining positivity and working as a team is more important than ever, therefore increasing the need for outstanding bedside nurses.
Lexie has floated on numerous occasions to various COVID units and has done so without hesitation, fear, or reservation. She has picked up extra shifts to help out during some extremely difficult staffing challenges.
Lexie serves as a preceptor, and one of the units Patient Experience Champions. She is always professional, is a team player and is a shining example of how strong nurses have risen to the occasion during this pandemic.
