During a time when healthcare workers need to lean on each other, the Critical Care Unit is lucky to have SrA Tingcang to rely on.
SrA Adrian Tingcang has consistently showcased the Trusted Care domains each time he works. When the Critical Care Unit was full of acutely ill COVID-positive patients, SrA Tingcang has been relied on to be the sole technician for multiple shifts, which can be physically and mentally exhausting. His commitment to safety and patient-centeredness has never faltered, however. Multiple times, he has clustered patient care by smartly planning his tasks and entering the room to perform several of them at once, he has reduced the exposure for himself and others.
Additionally, his ability to not only catch potential errors before they have the chance to occur but communicate/escalate the issue is uncanny. This was evidenced by him noticing a heart block on a telemetry monitor and rechecking orders before drawing labs, preventing a lab redraw.
Lastly, the positive effects of his leadership and positive outlook cannot be overstated. He always answers patient call lights and nurse requests with a smile on his face. During a time when healthcare workers need to lean on each other, the Critical Care Unit is lucky to have SrA Tingcang to rely on.
