Sumi is the unsung hero who is present in the moment and willing to redirect her activities to assist employees and patients whenever called upon as was evident on a day I attended patients with 1115 waiver time-sensitive care gaps. My assigned nurse did not show up; Sumi without hesitation donned her PPE and pleasantly began to assist with the much-needed 1115 waiver activity. She has great attention to detail with collaborative in-basket messaging. She has been complemented by various providers for making the in-basket burden easier due to her thoroughness and compassionate attitude. She inspires trust and embodies idealized influence in that she is purpose-driven, a role model, and "Walks the Talk". Sumi provides feedback on tasks assigned and works tirelessly to ensure customer satisfaction.
