Colleen was phenomenal and waited on us hand and foot. With the birth of my daughter, my wife and I could not have been more pleased with all the nursing staff. We were lucky enough to have Colleen for three days in a row and it was nice to have a friendly face every day.
Colleen assisted my wife and me in every aspect of recovery after C-section and with the complications we had with our new baby girl. Colleen could see how emotional we were and showed great empathy for what were we going through. The baby was born after giving all the nurses a bit of a scare and after that, it took four days to get her back in good health.
During this process, my wife and I had many questions about how to be new parents and what to expect what is normal'ish and how to do different things. Colleen stepped to the plate and did not hesitate to assist us with her as we are both kinesthetic learners. Colleen showed us several times how to handle our newborn. Whether it be swaddling, breastfeeding, pumping preparing milk, changing diapers, how to burp, and most importantly how to soothe a fussing or crying baby. Colleen is extremely knowledgeable, understanding, and a great teacher. Colleen truly made a huge impact on our lives and it will never be forgotten.
