The College of Nursing at Brigham Young University honored nursing student McKenzie Weir with the DAISY In Training Award. Weir believes in looking out for individuals who need a friend or simply a kind smile to make it through the day. She feels that taking time to remember someone 's name is important, and she follows this practice with peers, classmates, and people she meets at church.
