Beth was nominated by three of her students, who stated that she goes above and beyond to help students not just learn, but understand truly what it means to be a nurse. Beth is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly cares for patient's wellbeing; a true role model.  Another student wrote in her nomination that in an area so heavily stigmatized, Beth is an amazing advocate for those suffering from mental health diseases.  It is because of her embodiment of advocacy, you cannot help but want to get involved, too. She constantly is connecting the dots for us and she does it with an abundance of patience, care, and flexibility.
