Professor Klenke-Borgmann is committed to the success of her students. At the start of her course, she requested that students email her and introduce themselves. She responded to every email she received and has a great rapport with our class. In addition to conducting an organized, successful course, she spearheads simulation activities. I feel that these simulations have been some of the most beneficial experiences as a student nurse. Even amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, she continued to educate students effectively. She adapted the simulations to an online format, where students were able to view a recording of nursing students in past years during a simulation. After viewing the video, she hosted debriefing sessions via Blackboard Collaborate. During these debriefings, we would assess what went well, what we would do differently, etc. She would also field, any and, all of our questions during this time. She provided encouragement and support to students during this unprecedented time by sending uplifting messages, sending reminders to make sure we knew what was expected of us during this time, and asking us to let her know how we are doing. She is always willing to meet with students to discuss concerns, answer questions, or meet other needs students may have. Of all the teachers I've had in my life, Professor Klenke-Borgmann is the one I've learned the most from. I think I speak for most of my classmates when I say she has earned our respect and trust.
