Lori Rubarth is the most caring nursing professor I have ever met. She is personally invested in all her students.  Even as a distance learner, I know Creighton cares about me as a student because Lori has always been there for me; as a faculty advisor and also as someone who genuinely cares about her students.  I had been accepted to all of the schools I applied to, and I chose Dr. Rubarth because I knew she would help me succeed. In those first initial communications I could tell she went above and beyond for her students and that I would not be a number in the program.
Lori is a wonderful nursing faculty because she cares so deeply for her patients as well. In every lecture, presentation or discussion you can tell that there is always heart behind the pathophysiology and management. She has given back to the neonatal and nursing community and she ensures her students are ready to care for these fragile tiny patients. Students and patients benefit from Lori's presence, knowledge and skill.
