Dr. Bhimani is absolutely caring and compassionate toward students. She has a strong focus on social justice issues in health care and is a fabulous resource for research and evidence-based practice. She has been amazing to work with and learn from! Rozina Bhimani is a superior Mentor who not only maintains the rigor required of graduate students, but also inspires graduates to lead, and realize the real need for us to step up! Many of her words remain strong memories. Dr. Bhimani has made the biggest impact during my educational journey through the DNP program at St. Catherine's. She continually reminds students of the expertise we all have. She inspires personal and professional growth through her stories of the obstacles she has overcome. She pushes students to dig deeper, and think in broader perspectives when dialoging in class or in on-line discussions. She is a great role model for nursing leaders, as she reminds us of our responsibility to our patients and society to speak up and take action if things need to be changed or there is an injustice in our midst. She has a passion for teaching and she is very prepared for her class meetings. She is genuine and caring. She has high standards and will assist students to reach her high standards. She has truly helped me understand the social justice thread that has been weaved throughout the DNP course work. She told us in the beginning that we would be changed by this course work and she was right, as my lens to view the world has forever been changed.
