In the clinical setting, Hannah Hong regularly displayed the core nursing attributes of kindness, compassion, equity, commitment, and advocacy. This student's preceptor stated "On her first day with me, we had a very difficult assignment... and as nursing goes... many of our shifts were that way. She never seemed overwhelmed. She was ALWAYS ready to jump in and just get it done. She has a great rapport with her patients. The thing she struggled with was getting stuck in her patient's room while listening to their life story. Which in a funny way is an award in itself. Her patients loved her. Some of them even asked for her when I went in to do my own assessment. 'Where's my nurse?' left me standing there like, uhm... I think that's me?!?. Everyone loved her. Wish I was in charge of hiring, she'd be at the top of the list."
This student has grown exponentially into a truly Extraordinary Nursing Student. I personally cannot wait to see how far she goes. Congratulations, Hannah Hong.
