Carol Myers, MSN, RN, an instructor in UPMC Shadyside School of Nursing’s Complex Health Nursing Course, was honored with The DAISY Faculty Award on December 16, 2011. Regarding Carol, one of the students commented, “I cannot thank her enough for everything she has taught me, for the confidence she helped me gain, and for the nurse she has molded me into.” Carol has been nominated for the award numerous times and four students took the time to submit nominations for her prior to this award ceremony.
