Brittany has amazing communication and leadership skills and is concerned about the dignity of those in her care. In the Spring of 2016, she lead a health teaching program on "Mindfulness and Stress" which was well-received with positive evaluations from seniors living in a care community. Brittany has the excellence/leadership skills of an Army Veteran and CNA in her personal time, and exemplary nursing student-evidenced by her induction into STTI today. She is smart, caring, always looking out for her peers, available to coach and mentor other students, and a calming, quiet presence when things get heated. She is dedicated, caring, has integrity and extraordinary communication skills. She is amazing as a person and future nurse and we are so pleased to nominate her for a DAISY-In-Training Award.
