Each week Raina was organized, prepared, energetic and eager to learn. She did a great job researching her patient 's medical diagnosis, labs and medications. She incorporated ongoing feedback to help enhance her critical thinking skills. She actively strives to do well in the clinical. She is committed to helping patients achieve their goals and patients commented on her caring approach to nursing.
As Raina's clinical faculty member, I had the opportunity to observe her outstanding clinical skills. Raina did an excellent job caring for complex patients. During this clinical experience, Raina cared for patients with respiratory failure, complex wounds, tracheostomies, IV/PO medications who had a multitude of comorbidities. She adapted easily to a new clinical setting and displayed highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with her patients, classmates, myself and staff. Raina excelled with her patient interactions as evidenced by positive feedback from her patients and staff members. Raina is well equipped to grow and excel as a registered nurse. She is driven, committed to life-long learning, hardworking, a team player and proficient communicator.
