Tammy Blatnick teaches in both the traditional nursing program and in the RN to BSN program at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Students at SWOSU pick the Daisy Award recipients each year and our RN to BSN students chose Tammy Blatnick for 2014. One of the students remarked that she decided to attend the SWOSU Nursing RN to BSN Program because she had Mrs. Blatnick as an instructor in her ADN program and she knew the level of commitment that Tammy gave to students. Other students remarked on her helpful personality and how she goes out of her way to ensure students are getting what they need to be successful. Other students remarked on Tammy?s caring attitude while at the same time noting she could be ?tough but fair.? Lastly, the students remarked on her ability to organize material in such a way the students felt like they were making the best use of their time.
