Dr. George brings a belief that compassion and leadership are important to education and strives to create open communication, support, and a sense of community amongst all faculty and students at FNU. She has worked with students by encouraging and recruiting them to follow their dream of becoming a Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Midwife. She actively assists new faculty within the PMHNP track by aiding with orientation and training. Lastly, as a leader within the FNU community, she has assisted the Program Director with course realignment within the PMHNP track to better prepare our students in adequate and astute assessment skills. The program director says of Dr. George "Her consistency, dedication, commitment, initiative, and motivation that she demonstrates on a daily basis is palpable to our students and PMHNP Faculty."
