Dr. Davidson was my professor for my first DNP class Nursing Theory and later became my academic advisor. Dr. Davidson is very sensitive to my needs and circumstances as a student. She truly cares about my success in the program and went above and beyond when I was having difficulty with another instructor. Dr. Davidson is prompt with her responses to my emails, she took the time multiple times to speak to me on the phone, she gave me the courage to stay in the program when I was ready to quit. Dr. Davidson has a gift of being a skillful online instructor, she is super knowledgeable about the DNP program and all the possibilities for the practicum. I am very excited to be a part of the Diversity Global initiative thanks to Dr. Davidson. Dr. Davidson is a role model for me as I am now working in a university setting She has a lot of energy, non-stop, to encourage me continuing my education. She has helped the college getting accreditation. She is an amazing awesome instructor and role model. Dr Davidson is very patient and goes the extra mile to see that her students are successful. She also reaches out and offers herself to assist when needed, even with complex situations. My experience with this professor has been nothing but exceptional. She has the gift of "teaching, guiding and setting students up for success" That quality is hard to find in professors today. I hope she is chosen as the winner for this award. She is the epitome of was Chamberlain College of Nursing stands for, "Excellence".
