Professor Gerhardstein is an instructor that goes above and beyond for all of her students. She is extremely knowledgeable about the content and subjects that she teaches and is highly skilled. She teaches the course material in a clear and concise manner, and she also gives evidence-based demonstrations on how to perform skills that correlate with the topics. Professor Gerhardstein cares about her students and their success. She makes herself available for questions or advice on how to approach the material to be more successful on coursework and tests. I was able to have Professor Gerhardstein as an instructor for Complex Adult Health, Community Health, Collaborative and Capstone. I truly believe that because of her teaching and guidance I was able to pass NCLEX and acquire a job at a highly respected hospital in the field that I am most interested in. I believe that I will be a much better nurse because of Professor Gerhardstein, she is truly the best! Professor Gerhardstein impacted my life tremendously as a Chamberlain student and my future success as an RN. She has always been supportive and motivated me to be the best I can be. When I took her course in NR 101 not only did she teach the class what we needed to know, she went beyond to make sure that we understood the content and how to properly write in APA format. Also, during my last semester at Chamberlain I struggled with ATI content, and she sat with me and listened to what my concerns were and guided me to understand the presented materials and how to perceive it even though she was not my Professor for that course. I can honestly say that she loves her job and has a tremendous amount of compassion for her students. I am grateful to have had a professor like Professor Gerhardstein because she not only impacted my life in a positive way, but she also believed in me. Professor Gerhardstein was the best Professor I had throughout my nursing education. She made a difficult course, that I was not excited about, so much more enjoyable and understandable! She was always encouraging, patient, helpful, and kind! Professor Gerhardstein is an excellent educator and an extraordinary example of the qualities of a professional registered nurse.
