Jessica Jacob is a graduating nursing student with strong academics. She is committed to her future nursing profession and portrays qualities emblematic of the expectations necessary in nursing, such as compassion, quality, and a difference-maker for her peers. One example is her role in the rollout of the CNPH Peer Mentoring Program. While the program is in its infancy compared to other established programs, Ms. Jacob has over the past academic year played an integral part in aligning her skills in student leadership and motivation towards recruiting students to become a part of this endeavor. Ms. Jacob's passion and enthusiasm towards caring for patients and families is contagious. She embraced nursing after a tragic event in her life and never turned back. She is compassionate, empathetic and embraces humanity as a whole, caring for her patients.
