Our first nominee at California Baptist University, Terri Thompson, RN, MSN, was awarded on December 11, 2015. She is passionate about her work, shows love and compassion, cares about her students, is calm and welcoming, and makes herself available to talk about the struggles of life. According to one nomination, "she is one of the most genuine women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing: she is a true blessing to have in my life and to have had as a part of my nursing education".
