Dr. Reis went above and beyond in the way that she taught classes. She was able to make difficult GYN information relevant and easy to remember. She made sure that we all comprehended the main points of information by having a review session prior to exams. She was able to re-teach some points and hammer down the most pertinent information. She was approachable and answered emails quickly. Her courses were organized and she made sure that we had the articles and resources we needed at our fingertips so that we could study however we needed to: with our books, on our tablet, or by logging into blackboard. She was a fabulous professor and I learned a wealth of information from her!!!
Dr. Reis is a phenomenal professor. Her courses are set up for students to be successful because she has detailed lesson plans and many useful additional assignments. Prior to my first course with Dr. Reis I was feeling defeated because I spent many hours revising and did not get the scores I wanted. Dr. Reis made me realize how brilliant my mind is through her encouraging conversations. She believed in me and acknowledged the time I was spending on my education. Dr. Reis leads by example. She is an active participant in the ACNM and has spent a lot of time on her education and her career. Dr. Reis is the one person I can ask any question and she knows the answer. At my graduation Dr. Reis was tearful with joy. I could tell that she was truly vested in us, she cared about our success and was excited to call us colleagues. That meant so much to me. It didn't feel like we were just a group of students that made it through. I felt valued. I am grateful to have been one of Dr. Reis's students. She has blessed me in so many ways."
