Ms. Hudson is a great leader, caring, compassionate and embodies what a nurse should be. She has taught me so much in these few years in this program and I cannot think of anyone else who deserves this award more.

Ms. Hudson takes the time to individually talk with each student.  Additionally, she teaches us how theory and practice come together in the clinical setting.  Ms. Hudson really allows students the opportunity to synchronize their knowledge into the "real world" clinical setting.  She is an excellent instructor!

Ms. Hudson has been so much more than just an instructor. She has provided motivation and been a mentor since the day I met her. She has done what no other professor I've ever had has done. She has molded us, guided us, spoken with us after hours when we were in crisis on what job to choose. She talks one on one with each of us to get to know who we are and then helps us figure it out. She pushes us to find ourselves, to trust our skills, and instills confidence when we can't seem to find it. She has taken caring and compassion to another level and truly wants the best for her students and the patients that we take care of. I personally have found myself and have been able to decide my future nursing career with her guidance and support, as well as gained the confidence that I was lacking. She truly is the definition of a mentor and role model. She has all of the qualities and attributes of an outstanding professor and an Extraordinary Nurse. I have been honored to have been taught and guided by her.

Ms. Hudson is the most understanding and caring professors I have ever had. She pushes us to think like actual nurses so that we are prepared when we graduate and get a job as a nurse.
