Professor Frost creates a very respectful, energetic, and judgment-free setting for her students to learn and engage in.
During lectures, it is very evident that nursing is Frost's passion. She encourages and allows her students to learn through the information she gives during lecture, and she provides even more information in her stories about past experiences and about specific situations that pertain to the topics her students learn about.
One of my favorite things about Frost is that she strives to be the best person she can be and seeing such a great instructor with so much knowledge is very inspirational. I spent 16 weeks with Frost in total, for 2 classes, and I don't remember her presenting a negative thought. She's always very positive and engaging in our learning experiences. She maintains a great connection with her students while also ensuring that it is a professional relationship.
I cannot think of enough great attributes that Frost has. She is inspiring, patient, encouraging, confident, flexible, caring, enthusiastic, has a good sense of humor, down-to-earth, peaceful, and extraordinary.
Frost went above and beyond in one of the classes I had her for specifically. She encouraged us all to meet with her during her office hours, as well as making this an assignment, to speak with her about our experience at Chamberlain in general. During this assignment, she and I discussed how well I was doing in classes, what I could do better with, time management, study tips, etc. She also gave me a lot of insight into my questions pertaining to which specific area of nursing I want to go towards after graduation and answered general questions that I had about furthering my education. This meeting with her had me nervous in the beginning; however, when I walked out of her office that day, I feel as if she changed the way I saw things in a way. I wanted to be more enthusiastic like her. I wanted to study more, so I could know more like her.
