Angel Boling, Assistant Professor of Nursing, is the 2012 recipient of the DAISY Faculty Award at Baptist College of Health Sciences. Mrs. Angel Boling was presented the award on March 20, 2012 at the College's Annual Honors Convocation. Criteria for Extraordinary Nursing Faculty 1. Serves as a role model of professional nursing. 2. Demonstrates enthusiasm for teaching, learning, and nursing that inspires and motivates students. 3. Demonstrates interest in and respect for learners. 4. Uses personal attributes (e.g., caring, confidence, patience, integrity and flexibility) that facilitate learning. 5. Is fair and unbiased in his/her treatment of individual students. 6. Excellent interpersonal skills. 7. Develops collaborative working relationships with students and colleagues.
