Kyleigh is tirelessly working as a patient care technician at the local hospital's intensive care unit. Her hours with the recent COVID-19 pandemic have been more than 40hours per week while also balancing her work as a full-time ASN student in the 3rd semester. Kyleigh demonstrates care and compassion for all patients and shows the same love for her peers and faculty.  She serves as a leader among her peers. Kyleigh is an active member of the Student Advisory Board; attending all faculty meetings and providing thoughtful suggestions and feedback to faculty. She is also active with the Southwestern Association of Nursing Students as well as Evansville's Nursing Students Advancing as Individuals and Determined to Succeed (NSAIDS) group. Kyleigh has served as a peer tutor helping others learn how to do dosage calculations, care planning, and pharmacology. Kyleigh worked with her sister last fall to organize "Warm Hands, Happy Heart." They did a two-week drive to collect hats and mittens to donate to the Department of Child Services. Kyleigh is an individual that always has a smile on her face. She is uplifting to be around and will undoubtedly make an awesome nurse.
