Hoping to get this added to her profile.** Joanne Kroger is a well-respected member of the Nursing Faculty at The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences. The following nomination is a wonderful example of the positive impact Joanne has on the students she teaches: "Professor Kroger was a wonderful instructor. She was an amazing professor and would do anything for us students. She take her time with each student and if we were confused on something she would let us work through it and she would step in when she needed to. She never made us feel rushed or feel like we were holding the group back. She worked with each student individually and addressed every question. Professor Kroger would also help us out with lecture materials. We would tell her something we were confused on and then next day in clinical she would come back with a website or a packet of information that might help us study for the test. She would also always give us patients on the floor that would challenge us but also meet our needs as students. She made sure every student had the opportunity to perform new skills on patients and really put the extra foot forward in making our clinical experience a great one. She taught us how to work with the doctors, other RN's, and PCA's on the floor to really give us a good idea on what being a nurse is all about. She showed so much compassion to the patients as well and helped us with daily care for the patients. Professor Kroger was by far the best clinical instructor I had and I have never taken so much away from a clinical or any nursing course than I did when I was with her."
