Kelsey has continuously gone above and beyond for every patient she has cared for during her nursing school clinicals. She consistently demonstrates the highest level of compassion for patients and families.  Kelsey has gathered important assessment findings for her patients that either no one else noticed or were new findings that positively impacted patient care and resulted in more positive patient outcomes. She has extraordinary assessment and clinical judgment skills. She is caring, confident and patient with each and every patient. She has demonstrated an enthusiasm for learning as she has completed patient care for multiple patients and goes to help her classmates as well as the nurses that work on the floor. She seeks learning opportunities every chance she gets. She always remains positive and is quick to support her classmates with her smile and kind words. Kelsey is an excellent communicator with her patients including those who are non-verbal and unable to speak for themselves. She has been observed going back to visit with previous patients and families to further support them even after her time with them has ended. She will be an extraordinary nurse practitioner.
