Dr. Robin Caldwell is an absolutely incredible person, in addition to being a fantastic professor. Her passion for nursing, public health, and all people in general is so evident in all of her lectures and interactions with students. She is so encouraging to all of her students and makes the classroom environment conducive to learning. She teaches through love and kindness, which is much more effective. As a clinical instructor, she cares so much about all of the students and is incredibly supportive and loves all of her students. She frequently talks about how our generation of nurses will change the world and how nursing goes far beyond just giving meds and doing assessments. Her passion and love for students is absolutely mind-blowing. She is always willing to learn and innovate, as evidenced in lecture by utilizing a multitude of technological resources that I have not seen in any other classes. She makes all of us laugh and have so much fun in class and makes it such a positive environment for all people involved. I truly cannot think of anyone more deserving at the nursing school than Robin Caldwell. Her passion for community health shines through in all of her interactions and inspires each of us with ways we can be more like her in our nursing career.
