Sara recently took care of one of my patients, an infant, and her family. The infant was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 soon after she was born and it was devastating news for the parents. The way Sara took care of the baby and her parents was exemplary. I have not seen in my work as a neonatologist, a staff member who has been so dedicated to helping the family members. She was there for them during the day and night and followed up with that family after the infant's demise. Hats off to Sara for her exceptional caregiving qualities.
