I had a C-section and this RN met us in our room post-surgery and welcomed us to our room. She was definitely immediately warm, funny, attentive to both my significant other and me, and all-around what I felt to be very genuine. Not only did we have an emergency C-section, but we delivered in a global pandemic. In those first 5 minutes of meeting our RN, we forgot about the outside world and were content in our little safe bubble. She made sure BOTH of our waters were always filled, made sure I always got my pain medication on time so my pain was managed and took our baby to the nursery so we could get some sleep. This was all on the first night. Needless to say, other nurses had HUGE shoes to fill. I was ECSTATIC to have her again on our last night. And again she was exactly the same person I met that first night. What a pleasure it was to have her. Thank you, Stacy, you are right where you should be, that is your calling!
