D came into the hospital with a stroke with effects of speech, use of his arm, and walking. Kayla came with a positive attitude and a smile. D's first day was very difficult. He realized his condition. Kayla continually encouraged D that he would improve over time. Kayla showed him by working with his hands, feet, and eyes that he indeed improved daily. D has a good sense of humor. She was able to talk with him and make him smile and laugh. Kayla listened to his needs. She provided medicine and asked if he needed anything and promptly took care of requests for pain relief, nausea meds, even toilet paper. Kayla is professional, caring, and compassionate.
