I received a phone call from a Community Neighbor, who lives outside the county but was staying close to our hospital with her family since the recent passing of her high school sweetheart.
She did not have the supplies she thought she had for caring for her medical condition. She called the company to have what she needed shipped, but ran into an unfortunate situation with the shipping and would be without supplies. Concerned, she called our hospital and somehow got routed to the ICU. The gentleman who took her call was very concerned about her situation and asked Angela Day to assist with helping.
Angela not only gathered 3 days' worth of supplies for her but brought it to where she was staying, so she would not have to get out. Exceptional. Exceptional is the word she continued to use to describe Angela. As we hung up, Ms. X told me that she appreciated Angela going above and beyond for her at this very stressful time in her life.
