She even went far as to tell my daughter that if there was anything my daughter could think of that she wanted to eat or that sounded good to let her know. Natalie would pick it up for her on her way into work the next day!
Natalie went so above and beyond to help my daughter after two days in the Children's unit, we were moved down to the 6th floor. Natalie brainstormed and came up with so many ways to encourage my daughter (15, who suffers from anorexia) to eat. For example, splitting up meals and supplements into smaller multiple portions and mixing her supplement to make them taste better, and requesting so many different flavors of supplements so she can stand to drink. She even went far as to tell my daughter that if there was anything my daughter could think of that she wanted to eat or that sounded good to let her know. Natalie would pick it up for her on her way into work the next day! Natalie also was the only one who was able to get her migraine headaches under control. When Tylenol and Advil did not work after multiple tries Natalie suggested Toradol (non-narcotic) every six hours which helped greatly the first few hours after she had it. When the doctors came in she asked if she could give my daughter Tylenol between doses to help and it did! Finally, my daughter's pain was controlled. Natalie is an amazing caring nurse who made our stay bearable. Thank you!
