I am an old lady (53 yrs old) with two children and grandchildren and I have a great husband too. However, life is changing and everybody is getting busy in their life. Having an endoscopy at this age, although it's a simple procedure, it means something to me to have someone around. I came to the hospital with my husband, however, he was busy and had to leave. Nurse Selin was my nurse once I reached the hospital. The way I was treated by her made me feel comfortable for my husband to leave me alone. During all steps of registration and assigning the room and preparing me for the procedure, she was excellent and nice. She made me feel at home, comfortable, and relaxed. I felt she helped me anytime I needed anything. I had some personal needs and she helped with those too, I felt like my daughter was around. I got stressed a little but she was there to comfort me with her smile and calm voice.
She is an excellent nurse with a big heart, a nice way of talking, and a smiling face. I felt like I was home with my daughter. Thanks, Nurse Selin. I hope all nurses have the same attitude.
