We were in Fairhope for a few days for our grandson's graduation. The day we were to drive back to Illinois, a 900-mile drive, we ended up in the emergency room. My husband has had five heart bypasses and a stent in his heart. We are always frightened when he has pain in his chest. He had an endoscopy and they removed his gallbladder. Shannon was his nurse for five of the six days in the hospital. We can't say enough good qualities she possesses as a nurse. She was very caring and attentive. She conveyed her knowledge of his health issues to us constantly. We felt like she was his personal nurse. She made his stay so much easier. Very impressive nursing skills, smart, explained every issue plainly, caring, personable, prepared us for what could happen. We cannot thank her enough. Her dedication to her profession is impressive and she told us how much she loved her job - it was clear to us by her care for my husband.
