She's a nurse practitioner now but she still does the nursing care Manager responsibilities and is always proud to be a nurse. We lost two RNs and without any hesitation, she volunteered herself to be an RN case manager and nurse practitioner at the same time. She treats her patients like family and she gives vaccines during Flu season herself. I don't know if any Primary Care doctor still does the same thing now. And during this Pandemic, she recommended doing wellness checks on our patients every week because our home visits were put on hold, instead of checking them every 90 days per our protocol. She always volunteered to do home visits with patients instead of just calling them or doing a video call. She always goes beyond and above. Our patients love her. Since I've known her for 3 years, I never heard any complaints about her. If you call her, she will make sure that she answers it right away or returns the call within 24 hours, especially if it's a patient. She's about to retire but she held off because she wants to wait until the COVID-19 vaccine is given to our HBPC patients. As her co-worker, I always learn something new, and she always willing to help you. She's just an amazing person and always advocates for her patients and is very passionate about what she does.
