Jerry was recognized by his co-workers for his excellent work ethic and his ability to take care of the whole patient and family. One of the elderly patients who is well known to our ED department came in one day for an exam. This patient has no immediate family in the area. Jerry was his nurse. Jerry took care of the patient's initial problem. The patient was also having issues with his toenails. Jerry took it upon himself to clip the patient's toenails. Jerry has gone to this patient's home to help out with tasks on his days off from work several times. Jerry has so much compassion for his patients. This is just one example of his dedication to the patients at CMH.
