Amanda was my husband's nurse while he was a patient there on the vent with COVID-19. She has such compassion for her patients, and she was the only one to offer us to zoom with him even though he was sedated; she did this as often as we wanted. It was such a relief to just see him!
She also asked us what his favorite music was, and she would play it for him every time she was there. We were told she was playing his country music holding his hand and singing to him while doing his care! Amanda always took the time to answer all questions I had even though I knew she was very busy. She always took that extra time to explain things. I feel as well as my family that she is an absolute asset to your facility and we would like to see her honored for her compassion, she made a horrible time bearable. Even though my husband passed from this horrible disease she made things a little better just knowing he had her taking care of him!
