I am writing on behalf of my mom (patient) and myself (family). My mom was admitted due to a fall that fractured her femur. She required surgery and was in the hospital for nearly a week. We had a very scary day on Thursday when all my mother's vital signs seemed to drop and she required a blood transfusion. Throughout the day her cognitive ability and spirits got much better. During this time she required a urine specimen and needed a straight cath to collect it. Lindsey was called after another nurse had difficulties. She was so kind and patient and discovered infection/discharge as to why urine would not come out. She persevered and on the fourth time was successful.
