One of our new grad nurses, Justin Farrar, stayed late yesterday so that his patient in COVID wouldn't have to eat her supper alone. She had just found out that her husband had died from COVID, she herself had just been moved into the unit with it, on an increasing amount of oxygen, and her son had just been admitted to the hospital with it. She had a beautiful smile on her face as he was sitting with her while she ate and they talked. He is one of the coolest angels I've ever met.
